Sandra is the Founder and Director of the Sandra Cameron Dance Center, New York's most influential school of Ballroom dancing for 30 years. She is the winner of every major American Ballroom dance competition in International style.

1st Place, United States Professional Ballroom Championships, 1976, 1977, 1978: Foxtrot, Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Tango, Quickstep
2nd Place Finalist, United States American Style Ballroom Championships
4th Place Finalist, United States Professional Latin Championship: Rhumba, Cha Cha, Paso Doble, Samba, Jive.

She is also the recipient of 1979's U.S. Terpsichore's Hall of Fame Award for services to American dancing. (more)

Jeni BreenJeni Breen
Jeni Breen has been involved with Dance her entire life, as a performer, choreographer and teacher. A life-changing visit to the Sandra Cameron Dance Center introduced her to the extraordinary world of ballroom and partner dancing--a world into which she plunged without looking back! She joined the faculty at SCDC in 1995 where she teaches Argentine Tango, Salsa and Ballroom. (more)

Roberto Garcia Roberto Garcia
Roberto Garcia is a performer, teacher and choreographer with 30 years of professional experience in modern dance. Roberto began ballroom dancing in 1999 and in 2001 was invited to join the staff at the Sandra Cameron Dance Center. Since September 2002 he has taught the ballroom dance classes at the 92nd Street Y. (more)

Stephanie HakunStephanie Hakun
Stephanie (Shapiro) Hakun was practically born dancing.  Although she began dancing ballet at the age of 5 years old in Parkridge, IL, she quickly traded in her ballerina slippers for dancing shoes where she danced all through school and in to her adult life.  Stephanie's wide range of experience runs the gamut from her high school Drill Team to a traveling Folk Dance Troop in Israel, finally transplanting herself in NYC where she has excelled in Swing, Salsa, Hustle and Ballroom.


Danielle QuisenberryDanielle Quisenberry
Ms. Quisenberry is delighted to return to Sandra Cameron’s Dance Center teaching privates in the Ballroom Department. A specialist in dance work with pre-professional performers, she has been recognized with a Helen Hayes nomination for best overall production of a musical and with a Papermill Playhouse nomination for choreography. She uses those skills at the dance center creating wedding dances and helping advanced dancers hone their performance skills when dancing the smooth and standard ballroom syllabi. (more)

Larry Schulz
Larry Schulz began his Ballroom Dance training in 1949 at Ms. Blass's Dancing Classes held in the basement of the Church of the Heavenly Rest in Manhattan. Classes in the Lindy, Foxtrot, Waltz, and Charleston continued at Staudinger's Dancing School in Montclair, New Jersey. Today, Larry is the Business Manager of the Sandra Cameron Dance Center and teaches Ballroom classes on Friday evenings. Little did he realize back at Ms. Blass's Dancing Classes, he would be teaching partner dancing half a century later. (more)
