The Argentine Tango program dates back to 1985, when Sandra Cameron invited the stars of Tango Argentino,
Juan Carlos Copes and Maria Nieves, to teach a special workshop at the studio.
The Sandra Cameron Dance Center has been teaching Argentine Tango longer than any other dance studio in New York City. Our monthly program of courses in Tango and Milonga range from Basic to Advanced levels. The classes are designed to take the student from the basic elements of the dance to the highest standard of dancing. Over the years, the studio has held special workshops taught by a veritable Hall of Fame of legendary Tango masters including Carlos Copello, Julio and Corina Balmaceda, Guillermina Quiroga, Jorge Torres, Natalia Hills, Pablo Veron, Nelson and Nelida, and the list goes on and on.
