Sara Yarborough

Sarah Yarborough, a native of New York City, was principal dancer with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She is Classically trained and was the recipient of a Ford Foundation Scholarship from George Balanchine to study at the School of American Ballet. She has taught, choreographed and coached throughout the United States. Her brilliant performing career was expansive and internationally recognized while touring as a member of the Ailey Company as well as the Harkness Ballet, Robert Joffrey Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem Metropolitan Opera Ballet, and the Atlanta Ballet. With each of her classes sarah shares her extensive training and her wealth of knowlege and experience ffrom the professional dance world. Through the ART OF DANCE she leads her students on a creative journey that is truly inspiring. Her classes are joyful, fulfilling and fun!
